Matt was born and raised in Roswell. He attended Roswell High School. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration and management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a law degree from Mercer University. He lives with his wife, Allison, and their son, Coleman.

Matt is executive vice president and co-founder of Blue Giraffe Sports. He is also the founder and commercial agent at Matt Judy Realty. He previously worked at the Haas Realty and Big League Broadcasting.

Matt Judy is currently the Roswell city council member representing Post 6. He was first elected in 2018 and has served on term. He is a member of the Public Safety Committee.

Wants to preserve the city's historic district and believes future growth in the district should be in line with resident wishes and should fit the character of the area.
