Professional background

John is a registered professional engineer. He currently works as president of Dison Contracting and Supply. He previously worked for Exxon Chemical and Nicolon. He is a Vietnam veteran and served as a U.S. Marine rifleman.

Political background

John Paulson is currently a member of Sandy Springs city council, representing District 1. He was first elected in 2009 and has served three terms. He is mayor pro tempore for the city.
