Bethsheba is from Detroit. She has lived in the West End for the past three years.

Bethsheba has owned several businesses and worked a part-time, adjunct professor at Clark Atlanta University teaching creative writing. She also produced a national touring stage show and created her own curriculum to teach people of color how to start their own businesses.

Bethsheba "Queen Sheba" Rem's campaign for the board of education is her first entry into politics.
