Plans to invest the more than $12 million in funding from the American Rescue Plan Act in "priority maintenance and one-time capital projects."

As mayor, she cut spending and postponed expensive projects in respond to reports that city funding would be down $9.2 million due to COVID. Postponed projects included road resurfacing and opening Mimosa Hall grounds.
