Michelle lives in Brookhaven with her husband Chris, their three children. She graduated from the University of Houston with focuses in sociology and communications. She later earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Public Policy from Georgia State University. Michelle is the former president of Dresden Square Homeowners Association, an alumnus of Leadership DeKalb, Atlanta Regional Commission’s Regional Leadership Institute, Leadership Gwinnett, and Forum for the Future’s School of System Change.

Professional background

Michelle is the founder and CEO of a social impact consulting firm called NP Voice, which offers fundraising and strategy support to nonprofit organizations. She has worked with nonprofits including the Community Foundation, Partnership for Southern Equity, and Mosaic Georgia.

Political background

Michelle served on the DeKalb Board of Ethics.

Says her "goal will be to build strong neighborhoods and promote smart and sustainable traffic calming solutions"
