Scott lives in Peachtree Corners with his wife and three children. They are members of Perimeter Church.

Scott graduated from Georgetown University, with majors in finance and international business, and graduated from Emory University’s MBA program with a concentration in capital markets. Scott serves as Senior Vice-President of Commercial Banking at SouthState Bank.

Scott served in the Georgia General Assembly from 2017 to 2019. He served on the Education and Healthcare committees.
