Ed has a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Furman University. He lives in Acworth with his family. They attend St. Stephen Orthodox Christian Church.

Ed serves as a Program Manager for CROFT, a construction firm. He has worked there for 10 years. Previously, he worked as an Environmental Consultant and Program Manager for a construction firm in Kennesaw.
