Connie has lived in Conyers for 19 years. She has two daughters and a grandson. She studied lithographic photography at Tennessee Technology Center at Memphis. Connie attended Gwinnett College of Business and studied to be a medical assistant. She studied to be a paralegal at the University of Georgia Continuing Education.

Connie owns Photography by Connie. She also owns the magazine The Good News Notebook.

Connie is the current councilwoman for District 2 post 2. She was elected to this position  in 2019. She has served one term in this role.

Said "I’m pleased with the resolution that was passed to honor the late Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I pushed for a street to honor Dr. King because he represents peace, and that is something we all can use right now”.
