Walter is originally from Douglasville. He moved to Turin a few years ago. He attended fire science classes at Dekalb Community College and West Georgia Technical College and has a degree in emergency medical technology from Dekalb Community College.

Walter is retired. He used to be a member of the fire service and law enforcement.
