Mark was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He has lived in Georgia for 26 years. He has a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from the University of Northern Colorado. He lives with his wife, Amy. They have three grown daughters and two granddaughters. He has lived in the Ashford Park area of Brookhaven for the last seven years.

Mark founded Frost Automotive Consulting. He used to be the national director of sales - auto dealership security systems at Compass Security Solutions, the chief operating officer at Mike Patton Auto Family, and the vice president of operations at Jim Ellis Automotive Group.
