Bill is originally from Dalton, Georgia. He has a bachelor’s degree in English and psychology from Berry College.

Bill is the President and Chief Creative Officer of Grant Design Collaborative in Canton.

Bill Grant is currently Mayor representing Canton. He was first elected in 2019 and has been in office for one term. He is the city’s first openly gay elected official. Prior to being Mayor, Bill served on Canton city council from 2013 to 2017 and was Mayor Pro Tem from 2014 to 2019.
