Zach is originally from Hartwell, and has lived there his entire life. He attended Hart County High School, and has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Emmanuel University. He lives with his wife, Emilee, and attends Crossroads Baptist Church.

Zach is a state social worker. He's also a volunteer fireman for Hartwell City.

Zach Adam’s campaign for city council is his first entry into politics.
