Robyn has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the College of William and Mary, a Master's of Education from the University of Virginia, and a certificate in School Counseling Leadership and Administration from George Mason University. She lives with her wife in Herndon, Virginia.

Robyn is retired. She was a Director of Student services at Chantilly High School until 2022, where she had been for 15 years. She previously worked for Mclean High School, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, and George C. Marshall High School.

Robyn A. Lady's campaign for school board member is her first entry into politics.
