Henry has a Bachelor's degree in General Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, a Masters degree in Strategic Intelligence Studies from American Military University, a Masters degree in Government Information Systems from American Defense University, and a Doctorate in Strategic Security from Henley-Putnam University. He lives with his family in Fairfax County.

Henry is a professor. He is also the head of the Parent Teacher Association at Thomas Jefferson High School.
