Mariana was raised in Southern California. She moved to Goodyear over 15 years ago with her family. Mariana and her husband, Sergio, have 2 children together. 

Mariana has worked as a paralegal for several Legal Aid Offices in California and Arizona and served in the Arizona Attorney General's Office for 12 years. She has held positions on the Agua Fria Union High School District Governing Board, the Cartwright Elementary School District Governing Board, and as a Maryvale Constable.

Mariana Sandoval currently serves as the state representative for District 23. She was first elected in 2022 and is serving her first term.
