David received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Science degree In nursing as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Post Master's Certificate as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Virginia. He resides in Bulloch County with his wife and two daughters. He has volunteered at Southeast Bulloch High School in the Future Farmers of ​America and Health Occupations programs.
