Demetrius is a native of DeKalb County. He is married and they have two children. Demetrius graduated from Miller Grove High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from Paine College in English and a master's degree in organizational leadership from Brenau University. He is studying for a doctorate in public policy from Liberty University.
