Khadijah is from Atlanta. She recieved her bachelor's in criminal hustice from Georgia State University. She has three children. She lives in Chalet/Peyton and is a member of Big Bethel AME Church in Atlanta.


Khadijah is the owner of Jakar LLC, a small business that provides customer service and sales support. She previously worked as a team lead at JMR Champion, a sales manager at Bellsouth Advertising, and an account representative at Jackson Communications. 

Khadijah Abdur-Rahman is currently the County Commissioner representing Fulton County  District 6. She was elected in 2021 and is serving her first term.
