Kirkland is originally from Ohio. He graduated from Duluth High School and received his bachelor's degree in political science from Georgia State University. He lives in Duluth with his wife and their son.

Tim Le Running To Be Gwinnett's First Vietnamese-American County Commissioner

Tim graduated with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic State University of Pomona. He is married and has a daughter. Tim helped establish the Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce and is also a board member on the Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District for Gateway 85.

Tim is the owner of Atlanta Maxim Realty International. He previously worked in mechanical engineering at NEC Electronics as a senior equipment engineer.

Tim Le's campaign for Gwinnett County Commissioner for District 1 is his first entry into politics.
