Professional background

Rick was an Assistant County Agent in Bartow County in 1980. He later moved to Bleckley County to further his experience in agriculture before settling in Pickens County, where he took a lead County Agent position.

Political background

Rick Jasperse was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2010 and has served as a Representative for the 11th District.

Economy

Supports local agriculture, establishing the Jasper Farmers Market to boost local farmer income, collaborating with Representative Graves to ease market regulations, and advocating for Georgia-grown produce to benefit state farmers.

Believes in economic recovery through reinvesting in education and fully funding QBE for the first time since 1982, with plans to continue in the next budget.
