He is President of the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association, a member of the UGA Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity Alumni Board, and a member of the Georgia Agribusiness Council. Sam is married and has four daughters. The Watson family are active members of the Moultrie First Baptist Church, where Sam serves as a Deacon.
