Angela was born and raised in Warner Robins, where she also attended Northside High School. She also earned her associate's degree in criminal justice and corrections from Georgia Military College-Warner Robins Campus and her certificate in paralegal studies from Middle Georgia Technical College. 

Angela has over 25 years of experience in the Houston County criminal justice system, starting as a victim advocate in juvenile, state, and superior courts. She has worked as a legal assistant for the Houston County District Attorney's office and has been a judicial assistant for a Superior Court Judge since 2007.
