Ramone grew up in Augusta, Georgia. He graduated from T.W. Josey High School and holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in criminal justice from Saint Leo University.

Ramone has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement. He began his career at the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, serving in the detention center, Road Patrol, and Traffic Division.
