Rodney studied general studies at Gordon State College, earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish Language Teacher Education from the University of West Georgia, a master's degree in educational leadership and administration from Jacksonville State University, and a specialist degree in curriculum and instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
