Shannon has served on boards for the Walker County Chamber of Commerce, Cherokee Regional Library, Oakwood Christian Academy and Communities in Schools. He also served as the first League Director for Upward Basketball in Chickamauga, City of Chickamauga Planning Commission and Chickamauga City Council.

Angie earned an associate's degree in both paralegal studies and industrial management from Chattanooga State College and a bachelor's degree in organizational management from Covenant College. Angie lives with her husband and daughter in Chickamauga, Georgia. 

Angie serves as the Human Resource Director for Walker County employees. She has previous experience as manager of the non-attorney staff at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. She also worked in law firms and was the former proprietor of Old Bethel Boarding kennel, raising and training professional show dogs.
