Marshall is originally from Winnipeg, Canada. He attended Oregon Health Sciences University. He and his wife Vicki live in Augusta.

Marshall is the Chief of Pain Medicine at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. He is also an associate professor and director of the Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. He served in the Navy.

Tina is a lifelong resident of District 7, having grown up in Vineland. She attended Westside High School and Augusta Technical College. She lives in National Hills with her her husband Bo and they have one son.  

Tina has over 25 years of office management and administrative experience. She has worked at CFS Architects and the Medical College of Georgia.
