Linton graduated with an associate’s degree in law enforcement from Thomas University. He acquired certifications in leadership and management from the Carl Vincent Institute with the University of Georgia and Columbus State University. Deloach served as a volunteer fireman and first responder with the Highway 144 Fire Department. He is married, and has three daughters.

Professional background

Linton held the title of Warden/Superintendent for eight years before retiring with 30 years of service for the Georgia Department of Correction.

Political background

Linton Deloach's campaign for county sheriff is his first entry into politics.
