Professional background

John began his law enforcement career as a dispatcher with the Georgia State Patrol and later graduated from the 88th Trooper School. He has served as a trooper, with roles in safety education, recruiting, and dignitary protection. He also worked as the Transportation and School Safety Director for Haralson County Schools, where he assisted in creating the Haralson County School Police Department and now serves as its Chief.

Political background

John Daniel has served as the District 3 Commissioner for Haralson County since his election in 2020. He has been appointed to the GA POST Council by Governor Brian Kemp.
