Richard Martin is a professor of Criminal Justice in the Department of Leadership Studies at Mercer University. Richard has held various law enforcement roles, such as constable in Indiana and police commissioner in Woodstock, Illinois. Additionally, he served as a merit commissioner for the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and was deputy director of a police training organization in the Chicago area. Before becoming a law enforcement officer, he worked as a high school history and health teacher in Gary, Indiana.
