Corey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Master of Public Administration degree from Strayer University. He lives in Rockdale County with his two daughters.

They are tasked with operating the county jails, keeping courtrooms secure during trials, and keeping the public safe through proper law enforcement.
