Rodney was born and raised in Schley County. He graduated from Tri-County High School and continued his education at Columbus State University, earning bachelor's and master's degrees. He is a graduate of the Georgia Law Enforcement Command College, US Army Hazardous Devices School and the FBI National Academy, Session 269. Rodney is a member of Ellaville Baptist Church and has served as a deacon, Sunday School Director, and member of the church security staff. He is married with three children and two grandchildren.

Professional background

Rodney is the Training Officer for the Schley County Sheriff's Office and serves as the School Resource Officer (SRO) for the Schley County School System. He worked as an inspector for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, as a patrol officer for the Warner Robins Police Department, as a Deputy Sheriff and Jailer with the Schley County Sheriff's Office, and as a Cadet with the Columbus Police Department. He has also been a volunteer firefighter.

Political background

Rodney J Wall served on the Schley County Board of Education as a School Board member.
