Andrea is the Chief Assistant Solicitor General for the Fulton County's Solicitor General's Office. She was previously the Assistant District Attorney in Gwinnett County, worked for the Clayton County Solicitor General's office, and a criminal defense attorney. 

Andrea Alabi's campaign for District Attorney is her first entry into politics. 

She has almost 15 years of legal experience and has handled over 1,000 cases and 75 jury trials.

Patsy attended law school at Emory University. She has been a resident of Gwinnett County for 25 years and grew up in the projects of New York. She is married to Travis, and together they have three children and four grandchildren.

Patsy has previously worked as an attorney in private and public practice. She also owned a gourmet popcorn shop.

- A District Attorney is the person who represents the government in the prosecution of all felony criminal cases and the misdemeanors connected to felonies. 
- They review police arrest reports, build cases against arrested individuals, and ultimately are responsible for prosecuting and making the case against these individuals.
