Andrea is the Chief Assistant Solicitor General for the Fulton County's Solicitor General's Office. She was previously the Assistant District Attorney in Gwinnett County, worked for the Clayton County Solicitor General's office, and a criminal defense attorney. 

Andrea Alabi's campaign for District Attorney is her first entry into politics. 

She has almost 15 years of legal experience and has handled over 1,000 cases and 75 jury trials.

- A District Attorney is the person who represents the government in the prosecution of all felony criminal cases and the misdemeanors connected to felonies.
