Steve has a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University and a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law. He and his wife Susan attend Cornelia United Methodist Church.

Steve is a partner at Campbell & Campbell and is a city attorney for the City of Cornelia, Hen was previously a municipal court judge in Tallulah Falls and served as Prosecutor/Solicitor of the Habersham State Court for 18 years.
