Judge Breakfield holds a bachelor's degree in English from Wofford College and a law degree from Mercer University. He currently resides in South Hall and is married with two children. 

Judge Breakfield has previously served as an Attorney for his own firm, Breakfield & Associates, and as a Lawyer and Mediator with Breakfield and Dean LLC. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at Gainesville State College. He has experience as a General Manager of Taco Bell.
