Andrew is a lifelong resident of Cedertown, Georgia. He graduated from Cedertown High School, then received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University. He later attended received his law degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University. 

Andrew worked as an attorney, previously employed at JordanADR, a source for Alternative Dispute Resolution in Georgia. He worked as a mediator for nearly 4 years before being appointed to the Superior Court. Up until 2023, he worked 10 years in the private sector at ”the Roper Firm” dealing with general practice. 

Andrew B. Roper is currently a Superior Court judge in Tallapooa Judicial Circuit. He was first appointed to the court in 2022.

Andrew is a lifelong resident of Cedertown, Georgia. He graduated from Cedertown High School in 1998. After, he received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University in 2002. He later attended Cumberland School of Law, Samford University and began practicing law in 2005. 

Andrew is a current judge running for re-election in the Superior Court in Tallapooa Judicial Circuit. He was first appointed to the court in 2022.

- On the civil side, Superior Court Judges hear cases on divorce, titles to land, contract disputes, and premises liability. 
- Superior Court Judges are elected by judicial circuit. Each county surrounding Atlanta has its own judicial circuit, while rural judicial districts typically consist of multiple counties.
- Superior Court Judges are elected to four year terms. Elections are nonpartisan. The Governor can appoint Superior Court Judges when vacancies arise.
