Evan attended Montana State University-Northern, and the University of Montana. He resides in Florence with his wife, Jamie, with whom they have two children together. He previously served as the local Union President, and as a Legislative Representative for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers (BLE). 

Evan currently serves as a substitute teacher. He previously worked as an engineer in the railroad industry. He is also a U.S. Military veteran. 

This is Evan Schroedel's first entry into politics.

Evan Schroedel

- Your State Representative participates in the legislative process at the state level. They are one of 100 members of the Montana House of Representatives. The Montana House of Representatives is the lower house of the Montana State Legislature (the state's lawmaking body).
- Your State Representative drafts laws, approves budgets, has oversight of the state executive branch, and debates and votes on proposed laws.
- In addition to drafting and voting on bills, your State Representative can serve on committees. This is important because many bills can be stalled in committee, preventing them making it to a vote.
