Stacy has a bachelors degree in philosophy and political science from Ohio Northern University and law degree from Ohio Northern University—Claude W. Pettit College of Law. 

Previously, Stacy was the law director for the City of Piqua, an associate attorney for Green & Green Lawyers, an assistant solictor for the City of Cincinnati, and an assistant law director for the City of Norwood, Ohio. 

Stacy is currently serving as the Miami County Common Pleas Judge. She was elected in 2018 and is serving her first term. 

As a common pleas judge, she reviews the decisions of certain state administrative agencies, issues marriage licenses, administers divorce, spousal support, parental custody, adoption, and eminent domain  proceedings, and oversees criminal felony cases, civil suits with alleged damages over $15,000, and cases involving individuals under 18 who are abused, neglected, or parentless.

As the law director for the City of Piqua, she directed the activities of the city’s legal department, provided legal counsel and representation to the city and its officials in civil cases and property disputes, and prosecuted limited criminal matters in the municipal court.

As an associate attorney for Green & Green Lawyers, she researched, drafted, and filed legal documents, and provided defense and counsel to clients.

As an assistant solicitor for the City of Cincinnati, she developed legal strategy on issues of constitutional law, researched and drafted legal documents, and provided the solicitor general with recommendations on which cases the government should seek review of.

As an assistant law director for the City of Norwood, she provided legal counsel to the city and its officials, prepared legal opinions and answered complaints for the law department, conducted interviews, reviewed records, and developed case strategy for the law department’s prosecutions.
