Lisa moved to Butler County in 1970.  Lisa received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She is married to Brent. 

Lisa previously owned and operated medical practice and research organization in West Chester. 

Lisa Mannix is currently the Butler County Coroner. She has been in office since 2012 and is serving her 3rd term.

Butler County coroner makes pitch for new morgue

Lisa first moved to Butler County in 1970.  Lisa received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  She is married to her husband Brent. 

Lisa previously owned and operated medical practice and research organization in West Chester. In 2013, she left her private medical practice and has dedicated her time fully to the Butler County Coroner’s Office.

 Lisa Mannix has served as Butler County Coroner since 2012.  She is running for re-election. 

- The County Coroner runs the Coroner’s Office, which is responsible for conducting an unbiased investigation on the cause, manner, and circumstance of death.  
- The Coroner is responsible for pronouncing someone dead, for photographing and documenting the place of death, and for releasing remains to be cremated, transported to another state, or autopsied. 
- They are also responsible for collecting evidence at the location of death. This includes physical evidence and interviews from witnesses. 
- Coroners are responsible for removing the body from the place of death, and informing their family of their death in a timely manner. 
- Coroners are elected to four year terms in nonpartisan elections.
