Brian serves as a member of the Wilmington City Schools Board of Education, vice president of the Clinton County GOP Central Committee, and is a board member of the Wilmington Public Library.

Brian is the chief felony prosecutor for Clinton County, where he has also served as an assistant prosecutor. He has also worked as the safety/service director and city law director for the City of Wilmington.

Brian A. Shidaker's campaign for Clinton County Prosecutor is his first run for public office.
