Charmaine is originally from Cincinnati. She has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati. Charmaine lives in Cincinnati with her wife, Christine.

Charmaine previously served as a sergeant, lieutenant, captain, and major in the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

Jim lives in Sayler Park with his wife and 2 children. He graduated from Western Hills High School. Jim earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a master's degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Jim has worked in the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for 40 years in various roles, including the Patrol Division and Jail Division.

Jim Neil previously served as sheriff of Hamilton County. He served 2 terms from 2013 to 2021.
