Willie Weaver is currently a city commission member for Albany. He was elected in 2024. He previously served on the Dougherty School Board and as a municipal court judge. He ran for Dougherty County Superior Court but did not win.

Judge's wife makes opposite statements - WALB

Willie's wife said he never abused her, but in a police report, she said he was drunk and hit her with a beer bottle. She did not make that claim to other officers.

In 2011, Willie's wife filed a police report that he had hit her while he was intoxicated, causing her to receive six stitches. Later, she dropped the charges and publicly said he never hit her.
