Professional background

Dean is a construction superintendent and project manager. He has worked for specialty construction companies in Georgia, overseeing commercial building and renovation projects. Earlier in his career, he was a land surveyor for Washington Gas Light Company in Northern Virginia and a customer service specialist with a residential construction company.

Political background

Dean is a former member of the Clarkston City Council. He was first elected in 2009 and served two terms from 2010 to 2018.
