Denis has been a resident of Dacula since 2017 and has lived in Gwinnett county for over 20 years. He earned an associate's degree in business management, a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in management with emphasis in project management. He also obtained his certification as a Project Management Professional, PMP. He and his wife Sheila together have five grown children and 2 grandchildren. 

Denis is a vice president of operations at a telecommunications company. He has worked in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 14 years. 

Denis is currently a Dacula City Council member. He was elected in 2021 and is serving his first term. Before his election to the City Council, Denis served on the Dacula Planning Commission.

He served in the United States Marine Corps for 14 years serving as an Infantry Platoon Sergeant and Drill Instructor during his tour of duty from 1981 to 1995. After his tour, he worked hard as a disabled Veteran, to earn an Associates of Arts Degree in Business Management, a Bachelor of Art degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science Degree in management with emphasis in Project Management. He also obtained his certification as a Project Management Professional, PMP. Denis has worked in the Telecommunication industry for over 20 years and is currently a Vice President of Operations. He and his wife Sheila together have five grown children and 2 grandchildren. During their spare time they enjoy spending time with friends and family. They also enjoy working around the house and traveling.
