Etrinda is from Savannah, Georgia. She attended Fort Valley State University. She is a mother and grandmother and attends St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

Etrinda is the founder of The Castle Group, a consulting group. She also founded the Hope Toward Home Ownership during the housing crisis of 2008. She previously worked for Delta Airlines in Technical Operations.

Etrinda's campaign for East Point City Council Member is her first entry into politics.
