Leigh Smiley is from Liberty County, Georgia. She lives with her husband, Jody, and their children in Hinesville. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Hinesville.

Leigh is the broker and owner of Coldwell Banker Southern Coast. She has worked in the real estate industry since 2009. Before entering real estate, she held various jobs, including a sales position at Alltel and roles in her husband

Leigh is currently serving her second term as a city councilwoman for the City of Flemington.
