Amy Fouse is from Perry and is a graduate of Perry High School. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Valdosta State University, a master's degree in education from Mercer University, and a doctorate degree in education from Georgia Souther University. She is married. 

Amy works as a English Language Arts and World Languages Coordinator with the Houston County Board of Education. She is also an adjunct instructor with Central Georgia Technical College and Mercer University.
