Jason Allen is originally from Detroit, Michigan. He has lived in Carl since 2014 with his wife, Lauren, and their three children. 

Jason has served as a police officer since 2007. 

Jason is currently a member of the Carl City Council.

Jason previously ran for the Utah House of Representatives in District 11 in 2020 but did not win.
