Lee Muns is married with five kids and ten grandchildren. He was born in Augusta and now lives in Harlem. He attends Warren Grovetown Church.

Lee is the founder and owner of Muns Welding and Mechanical, Inc. and Muns Services, LLC, where he has led operations for over 35 years, overseeing industrial construction work in power generation, metal fabrication, and infrastructure. He began his career as a pipefitter apprentice at the Savannah River Site
