Christopher Carr has lived in the Grand Blanc area for most of his life. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan – Flint. He and his wife, Mary, live in Grand Blanc. They have two adult children.

Christopher is a vice president in business banking at Huntington Bank. He has worked there for over 34 years. 

Chris Carr is currently a Grand Blanc City Council member. He was appointed to the council in 2019 and then elected later that year. He serves as chair for the Finance and Personnel Committees and on the Legal and Legislative Committee. He has also served on the Grand Blanc Planning Commission since 2013 and has been a member of the Downtown Development Authority since 2009.
